Frequently Asked Questions

How many Floosh units do I need for an event?

A good rule of thumb is one Floosh unit for up to 100 guests — although two units would suffice for up to 300.

How many uses can a Floosh unit accommodate before needing service?

200+ uses, where one use = flush + hand wash.

Do the units come with supplies included?

Your service vendor will stock your Floosh with enough toilet paper, hand wash soap, and paper towels to accommodate the expected amount of use.

How will I know when the unit needs service?

There is a highly visible sight gage at the back of the unit that shows the exact water level in the fresh water tank. When the gage shows a low water level, it’s time for service.

What does a “service” involve?

You service vendor pumping the waste tank, refreshing the water supply, and cleaning and restocking the interior.

Do I need to have water and power available at my venue?

No, the units are self contained with solar/battery power and integrated fresh water and waste tanks. If you want to have a wedding or event in the middle of a 300 acre field — no problem!

Since Floosh units are solar/battery powered, what if there are clouds and rain, or the units are placed in a shaded area?

No problem. The battery will be full on delivery and have more than enough stored power to operate the units without sunshine.

Are Floosh units air conditioned?

No. However, in hot weather, Floosh units are kept comfortably cool with powerful exhaust fans and a special air circulation fan that produces a nice, cool breeze around the interior.

Are Floosh units heated?

Your service vendor may be able to provide a small heater sufficient to keep the unit comfortable in colder weather. You will, however, need to make 110V AC power available.

How big are the units? Will they fit in limited spaces?

The units are approximately 8’ 6” tall, 50” wide, and 7’ deep (with step lowered). A removable wheel and dolly system allows the units to be moved some distance from their delivery trailer and perfectly positioned. Allow at least 5’ 4” to pass through narrow areas with delivery wheels attached.
